For Lebanon
A shout-out is in order for the folks at Vancouver Lebanese comfort-food favourite Nuba. They’re marking International Beer Day this Friday, August 7 by offering a Buy-One-Give-One fundraiser all weekend long on pints of its house-special Turmeric Ale brewed in collaboration with Faculty Brewing.
All proceeds will be donated directly to the Lebanese Red Cross to support its relief efforts in the wake of the explosion that shook Beirut this week.
We encourage everyone to treat a pal to a pint at Nuba this weekend, do something for the greater good and provide a little bit of relief for those who need it the most right now.
