‘Breaking’ News
Three thousand strong
Status update — since we first launched this platform a little over two months ago: 3,000 followers; 1,974 restaurants across Canada (and counting); one community, united in support of our Canadian hospitality and foodservice industry and those who depend on it for their livelihoods.
A heartfelt and sincere thank you for your ongoing support for this endeavour, and for the small and independent bars and restaurants across this country that are slowly beginning to open their dining rooms and seeing what the recovery process looks like. We’re not out of the woods yet by any stretch of the imagination and there are going to be big hurdles yet to clear, but as long as we keep breaking bread and supporting local — and each other —there’s nothing we can’t overcome.
Donut wait to enter
Toronto’s Cops Coffee & Doughnuts is teaming up with Toronto Eats to sprinkle a little donut love on your lost and endless days and giving away one of the Adelaide Street shop’s signature ‘5-0 Boxes’ of mini donuts to two pairs of friends to thank their fellow citizens on patrol for supporting local.
Deadline to enter is tomorrow — get all the donut deets at @toreats today.
