A story from Narcity Canada details that Toronto patios will be taking over street lanes once again this spring, with the city declaring that patios will be popping up in May this year — two months earlier than in 2020.

The city is looking to ensure that the CafeTO program, which was introduced in 2020 to help alleviate stress on Toronto restaurants during the pandemic, is “bigger and better” this year.
